What happens when someone scans it
The phone opens a contact preview with buttons to create a new contact or add to an existing one. One tap saves your name, phone, email, company, job title and website together. It works on iPhone and Android with no app installed. It cannot carry a photo — a QR code cannot hold that much data — so the card shows initials instead.

Yes. Both offer to create a new contact when they scan a vCard QR code.
How much can I put in it?
Keep it to the essentials. The more fields you add, the denser the code and the larger you need to print it.
Can I include a photo?
Not in this version — photos make the code far too dense to scan reliably. Name, phone, email, company and website are the sweet spot.
Is it editable later?
No, it is static. If your number changes you generate a new code.
What fields should a vCard QR code include?
Name, one phone number, email and company cover most needs. Add a job title and website if there is room. Every extra field makes the code denser.
How do I add a vCard QR code to my email signature?
Download the PNG, insert it as an image in your signature, and size it around 100–120 px. Colleagues and clients scan it to save you in a tap.
vCard QR code or a link to a contact page — which is better?
A vCard works offline and saves the contact instantly with no page load. A link lets you include a photo and update details later. For a printed card, the vCard is usually the better choice.
Why won't my vCard QR code scan?
Almost always because it holds too much data and was printed too small. Trim optional fields, drop any logo, and print it at least 2.5 cm wide.
