The short version

QR Studio builds static QR codes and print templates entirely in your browser. The URLs, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, payment IDs and images you enter are used to draw the code on your screen and never leave your device. We have no account system and no database of your codes.

What stays on your device

  • Everything you type into the generator or a template.
  • Logo and background images you upload — read locally, embedded into the code, never transmitted.
  • Your current design and a short list of recently made codes, stored in your browser’slocalStorageso the tool remembers your work between visits. Clear your browser data to remove it.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you personally. If privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics are enabled for this deployment, they record aggregate page views and referrers only — no personal data, no cross-site tracking, and never the contents of a QR code. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

The site is served as static files from a content delivery network, which processes standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, user agent) to deliver pages and block abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. We do not sell or share any data.

Your QR codes

A static QR code contains its data directly. Once you download and publish it, its contents are readable by anyone who scans it — treat it like any printed information. We cannot see, disable or change a code you have generated.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the “last updated” date above will change. Because the tool is client-side, older behaviour cannot be applied retroactively to codes you have already made.
