Looks scannable
What happens when someone scans it
The phone opens your profile. If the person has the app installed — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok — the operating system usually deep-links straight into it; otherwise it opens in the browser and the app takes over if it is present. They can follow you in a tap or two without ever typing your handle.

Frequently asked questions
Which platforms are supported?
Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Telegram, Snapchat, Pinterest and Threads. For anything else, use the URL QR code with the full link.
Can one QR link to several profiles?
Not with a static code — it points to one destination. A multi-link landing page needs a dynamic QR, which is on our roadmap.
Do I need the app installed to scan it?
No. It opens the profile in a browser; the app takes over if it's installed.
Can I change the profile later?
No, static codes are fixed. Generate a new one if your handle changes.
How do I make an Instagram QR code?
Pick Instagram as the platform and enter your username or full profile link. Instagram also has its own in-app 'nametag' QR — this one works better in print because you control the size, colour and logo.
Social QR code or a Linktree link — which should I use?
A direct profile QR gets people to that one profile fastest. A link to Linktree or a bio page is better when you want to offer several destinations from one code.
Can I put a social QR code on product packaging?
Yes — it is one of the best places for it. Keep it at least 2 cm, high-contrast, and pair it with 'Follow us @handle' so people know what they are scanning.
Do people need the app installed to scan it?
No. It opens the profile in a browser; if the app is installed, the phone hands off to it automatically.
